Elba Elba is known as the “prison” of Napoleon, but you’ll directly understand that even for him this amazing island would have not felt like a prison at all.
Come at ease in one of the beautiful bays, discover the nature by feet or mountainbike and experience and taste the Italian Culture in on of the many typical Italian villages full of charm and passion.
Why go to Elba in Spring?
- In May, the island is in full bloom and it is the best month of the year for Flora and Fauna.
- The temperatures are around 20-25 degrees and especially in the sun it is wonderful! Shorts and a T-shirt are certainly possible!
- The temperature is not yet so hot that you sweat with every step. So ideal for being active. Think mountain biking and hiking, especially beautiful in the month of May!
- Lower humidity, so beautiful views, on many days you can see the snow peaks on Corsica.
- It is still wonderfully quiet! Plenty of space on the beach, by the pool, at Napoleon's house. No stress for finding a parking space, you can park your car anywhere next to the beach where you want to be.
- It is CHEAP!

The Safari tent Offers the most luxury and comfort with a complete inventory like a kitchen, fridge, table, chairs etc.
Also you have your own space at the tent (further away from the camp square)
The tent is suites for up to 5 persons
The basic bungalow tents zijn perfect als je low budget op vakantie wilt. Beschik baar voor 1, 2, 3 of 4 personen. Ze zijn voorzien van bedden, stroom en licht. Je kunt gebruik maken van onze gezamenlijke keuken en terras dus je hoeft niet je eigen kampeer spulletjes mee te slepen.

Hoe kom ik op Elba?
Met de auto is Elba vanaf Utrecht zo’n 1450 km rijden naar Piombino, vanwaar je de veerboot pakt.
Geen zin in files, routes uitstippelen of geen beschikking van een eigen auto? Je kunt ook vliegen naar Pisa en vanuit daar met de trein naar Elba of huur een auto op Pisa Airport.
