Somewhere on a secret place on the island of Elba you can find a real shipwreck. What makes this even more special is the fact that the shipwreck is only 12 meters deep, what makes it ideal to see it close by. The ship lost track in 1972 and after hitting some cliffs it sank down. With our vans we drive to Pomonte, from where you will go together with our instructors around the shipwreck. Not only the shipwreck is spectacular but also the many fish around and in the wreck are breathtaking! A real must do activity once on Elba!

Snorkeling gear rental
The shipwreck is not the only place om Elba where you can do some great snorkeling. Along the complete coast of Elba there are many rock formations and beautiful parts to take a snorkeling set with you. If you would like to rent a complete snorkeling gear set with us this is possible for the whole day. The set is coming with flippers, diving goggles and snorkel. Please after the day bring them back washed with normal water, thanks!

Important information
Suited for everyone owning a swimming certificate. Children younger as 10 years old must be under supervision of parents or care takers.

Location
We gather at the trailer of Elba Travels on the parking area of Camping Lacona. This is across the street of Ristorante Puccini. Here you can find the snorkeling set suited for you and we leave in our vans to the shipwreck (+/- 45 mins drive).
Parking
Unfortunately you are not allowed to park at the parking area of Camping Lacona when your not a guest. There are a few parking spots at the road but they are mostly occupied. When you need a parking place we recommend to use the ones you can find at the Via del Moletto or at the parking across the Bar Lacona. The walking distance from here will be around 5 minutes.
